I hope you make it.
I hope you wake up one day and feel a little lighter than the day before.
I hope you find your people, the ones who make you laugh so hard it hurts, the ones who see you in your rawest moments and still stay.
I hope you stumble, and I hope you fall, and I hope you find your way back to yourself every single time.
I hope you keep choosing yourself, even when it feels impossible.
Even when the world demands too much from you.
Even when you feel like giving up.
I hope you love deeply, not cautiously, not half-heartedly, not because someone told you to, but with your whole heart.
I hope you get your heart broken. I hope it hurts.
I hope you cry alone and you cry with someone.
I hope you learn how strong you are and how soft you can stay at the same time.
I hope you make it through the days when it all feels too heavy.
When the ache of missing people, places, or versions of yourself that are gone threatens to weigh you down.
I hope you remember that what’s gone doesn’t take away from what you still have, from the life you still get to live, the love you still get to give, the magic you still get to notice.
I hope you keep falling in love, with life, with the small things, with the ordinary, with yourself, again and again, even when it feels like you’ve lost the ability to feel at all.
I hope you find joy in the quiet moments.
I hope you notice the sunlight spilling across the floor.
I hope you remember that a slow breath, a gentle smile, a soft laugh, or a song that catches your chest is still enough.
I hope you make it, because you’ve always been enough.
And even if life bends you, bruises you, or scares you, I hope you find your way back to yourself, full, soft, alive, and capable of being loved by the world.
And when you do… I hope you look around and remember all the ways you survived, all the love you gave, all the ways you tried.
I hope you make it not just to survive, but to truly feel everything that’s waiting for you.
Because you deserve it.
You always have.
Cheering for you always,
Emi Sue 🙂
